“Knows how to make it raw”
Reviewed August 25, 2013

After visiting Karyn's cook had to check out fresh corner where nothing is cooked and it is all raw. It is great. Had the falafel which was DELICIOUS. Hard to believe this was both raw and good for you. My partner had Karyn's Famous House Salad which she truly enjoyed. A beautiful cabbaged based salad blend of carrots, asparagus, mushroom and other things good for you. Also incredibly visually appealing. Sadly don't think we will make it to her third restaurant on this trip.

“RIGHT RAW”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

Went for the eggplant which was not served at this location. Tried the Portabello Mushroom dish and the smoothie (dates, nut milk, banana and vanilla) yummy. The Portabello Mushroom had flavorful olives throughout so for olive lovers, it's to die for. The empanadas were not to my liking even with the sauce provided, they were a little to dry probably the outside patty like dough. The presentatiion was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful. There were samples of various vegan cheeses as well as fresh offerings of all types of vegan and raw foods. I would definitely go again next time I'm visiting. I'm going to try harder to find the eggplant.

“Really delicious vegan raw food”
Reviewed February 13, 2012

If you or someone you know if dairy/gluten intolerant or just doesn't eat meat products, this is the place to eat. I have eaten there 2x and the food is outstanding! The chef does an amazing job creating dishes that do not have dairy in them, but are so tasty you have to double check with the waitress! The tortilla soup had a great texture to it and just the right amount of spice. They serve "ceviche" using cashews and it's delicious! The empanadas are served with wonderful dipping sauces that really enhance the taste. The menu also identifies items that do contain gluten, but they are only a few. If you haven't eaten at a "raw" restaurant before, do let the waitress explain how everything works. On your way out, visit their store/cafe adjacent to the restaurant for healthy take home items.

“Its all about the food”
Reviewed September 2, 2010

With every city that I travel to, I look for healthy vegan eateries. After going to the sister restaurant which had the most amazing wholesome cooked vegan meals, I decided to take a special trip to try the raw food restaurant. I had a three course meal; Italian Bruschetta, Portobello Napoleon and the Spiced Apple.

The only thing that could make this better is if they had a more extensive drink menu. For example some raw food restaurants that I have been to in NY serve mixed cocktails of Sake and fresh juices. Its a great lunch place but maybe not the best place to take a date.
