“Must Do in Chicago”
Reviewed August 14, 2014 via mobile

Had to go to Ditkas being big football fans. The place is loaded with great memorabilia that is a must for a football nut. We were greater by a friendly staff and shone to our table. The steaks were fantastic and large. Side had to be shared because of the size. Wine list was great with lots of choice. A must if you are in Chicago.

“Worth the Price”
Reviewed August 14, 2014

Wife and I decided well before our trip to go to dinner here. We are glad we did. Not too far from our hotel got there right at our reservation time. We were directed upstairs where we were introduced to our waiter. His name was Angus and was most polite as well as knowledgeable. He suggested Mike's roast beef nachos and they were outstanding. My wife asked several questions About steaks and settled on prime cut New York strip. I got bone in bribery both were cooked perfectly and brought out hot and juicy. We had asparagus and garlic smashed. Potatoes. All was
very tasty.Topped off with Mike's banana cream pie and we had a memorable experience that of us has talked up since getting back home

Nice place to watch a game or have an enjoyable meal. The menu offers a good variety of American cuisine from comfort food to nice entrees. It always seems to have a nice vibrant feel.

“Birthday Dinner”
Reviewed August 14, 2014

We recently went to Ditka's for my daughter's birthday. After reading the reviews on Trip Advisor, we thought it would be a good choice based on the menu and the location. The Bloody Mike's were great, although the beer chaser wasn't necessary. (The drink was huge and very filling.) We had a party of 7 and everyone enjoyed thier meals, except for the pork chops. My husband picked the place to try "da porkchop", something the restaurant is known for. He said it was very dry and over-cooked. He has never sent food back in his life, but I guess there is always a first for everything. Being that everyone else loved their meals and the service was good, I would definitely go back and try it again. We were so stuffed from our meals, we couldn't even eat the complimentary birthday dessert.

Went to eat at Ditkas restaurant as we are big Bears fans. Pricey but Amazing steaks and dessert. Once done on the main floor they have a little shop with Mike Ditkas products which is nice.
