“Italian food aimed at tourists, not locals”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

Huge portions of ok food and a very pedestrian wine list are the main features of this outpost of the Rosebud restaurant chain. The stuffed mushroom appetizer was bascially raw mushrooms filled with a bland bread crumb stuffing, mussels were ok, and the veal I ordered was tasty. Most of the wines on their list were typical, highly marketed wines from California and Italy that could be found for less money at the local grocery or liquor store. Not anything adventurous or out of the ordinary. This place isn't bad, just clearly aimed at tourists. There are much better, local Italian restaurants throughout the city.

“Friendly get together”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

I'm retired and I met friends I used to work with. They accommodated a group of 10. We had a yummy lunch of salads and Italian food. The service was excellent. We were comfortable on their enclosed outdoor patio.

“Old fashioned with benefits”
Reviewed January 12, 2013

What can I say? It's a old styled italian restaurant, but that's exactely the good thing about it. Food is genuine and generous with portions and the atmosphere is definitevely mafia movie-style...no offense! I really like the place...

“great all around Italian”
Reviewed January 5, 2013

Although they have a very diverse menu, a very accommodating waiter told us all the variations of their menu they could make for one of our party. The food was very good with large portions. My risotto with shrimp was cooked perfectly.
