“A Chicago Way to start the day!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2012

The staff, food, atmosphere are truly wonderful. With a menu to fit all pockets and all tummies, you will be hard pushed not to find something you like. Just a 1 minute walk from the main shopping areas, Feast is a great place to start your day before all the sight seeing and shopping commences in Chicago.

“Best Brunch in Chicago”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 4, 2012

The huevos rancheros will rock your world on the brunch menu. Everything at our table was excellent. Great smoothies also. Outstanding housemade chorizo.

“Has Potential....”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 1, 2012

Went to Feast - Gold Coast for lunch on a Friday afternoon...Warm atmosphere (seated next to faux fireplace), and a great BLT, but something was a little flat...another place with solid potential, but needs more of a personality/individual style, to bring out the potential....

“A Feast for Dessert”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2012

In town for business recently, I was looking for a place to sit at the bar, have a glass of wine and dessert. I had heard they had very good flourless chocolate cake and an interesting by-the-glass wine program from a friend, so I decided to give them a try.

The flourless chocolate cake was very good. It was served with a Grand-Mariner cream fraiche and a mandarin orange sauce. The wine was also excellent. I had a very good glass of petite sirah. As with many by-the glass wine programs, however, the glasses were on the expensive side.

The bar staff was a friendly and the atmosphere good. What made the evening, however, was how friendly the bars "regulars" were. They engaged me (a single traveler) in conversation and made me feel part of their community for the evening, all without any pressure to join in if I didn't want to.

Next time I'm in Chicago, I would consider going back to try their non-dessert food.

“Great place in Bucktown/Wicker Park”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 18, 2012

We enjoyed lunch at Feast while visiting Bucktown/Wicker Park. You can order breakfast or lunch all day. They have a separate dinner menu and serve alcohol. I had a steak tortilla salad. The steak was cooked perfectly on a generous selection of greens with a tasty dressing. Kids menu is available.
