Wished we had triedokoume thing else! This was recommended o us for their deep dish pizza. We waited 20 minutes while the dining area was clearly not filled. Ordered a meat lovers pizza and they were all out of bacon and sausage so ended up with tons of pepperoni. Not a cozy atmosphere. Only good point was the free shuttle ride from our hotel and the pizza prices are very reasonable.

“would have liked to have eaten there”
Reviewed June 19, 2012

We visited Chicago and were really looking forward to eating at Giordano's on Western Ave. We arrived at approximately 7:00 on a Thursday night, the restaurant was half empty. We were informed at the hostess station, rather rudely, that they were under-staffed and expected a large party so they were unable to seat us. We were very disappointed after traveling so far. We'll never even attempt to try Giordano's again.

“Yummm”

My husband kept raving about Giordano's good food, that it was only natural that on my first visit to Chicago I had to try it out to see what the hype was all about and all I can say was that it was delicious. I normally dont like too much crust, but the amount of cheese they had inside the pizza didn't make it feel like there was much crust. You can't say you've been to chicago until you try their pizza. Be prepared for a wait but it so worth it.

“Very displeased with our experience”
Reviewed October 31, 2010

We were in Chicago today and decided to have an early lunch at Giordano's. We left very disappointed. 4 of us had eaten pizza on Saturday and decided to order a sandwich. The other two each ordered an individual deep dish pizza.

We were seated promptly but waited quite a while for the waiter to take our orders. Once we ordered it took 45 minutes to get our food. The pizzas were barely warm. Our sandwiches had very little meat. There was an additional charge of $1 to add cheese to the sandwich. There was more bread than meat and cheese. We had a difficult time getting our drinks refilled. All of us agreed that we would never go back to this restaurant when in Chicago. The value for what we paid was very low.

“Very disappointing”
Reviewed August 22, 2009

I had not had pizza in over 4months, saving the experience for "THE DEEP DISH PIZZA OF CHICAGO". After an1.5 hour wait and most of that time trying to jump at the opportunity to grab someone's seat around bar area that were being moved to the dining area, we were finally seated. My mouth was salivating, we were brought our ceasar salad that was made with boxed croutons(sad) almost immediately and our pizza came out shortly after that. For me, a self proclaimed pizza expert, a pizza has to come together collectively ;ie the sauce, the fillings, and most importantly the crust. Very disappointed with the crust, it tasted like a store bought pizza crust(cardboard), mind you the filling ingredients and the sauce tasted fresh. Overall, this is one of the most disappointing pizza I have ever had. TRY COAL FIRE PIZZA-1321 W Grand Ave [--]
