The night we visited, the restaurant was full of groups, leading to a lively atmosphere. However, it was quite hard to have a conversation!
The service is a little stiff, perhaps too formal, but nonetheless, pleasant and polite.
The menu, including the various cuts of meat, was explained well and everyone was happy with their dishes. The steaks are wet aged, making for a juicy cut and all were cooked as requested. The fish special was inventive and delicious.
The restaurant is one of the more affordable steak houses but a dinner for 8, with only main courses and one bottle of wine came in at £40 a head.
