This is easily one of the finest dining experiences in Chicago if you like old style elegance. The Fixed Price Menu had wonderful options and every course was beautifully prepared. Service was optimum and the evening was a total delight. We will return!

Classic French, wonderful service, tables much too close together, most food very good to excellent with a few exceptions (bison very over-grilled, charcoal taste overwhelming) Highlights shrimp and lobster salad, Dover sole. We've had better food in this price range in Chicago.

Great tasting menu & soufles of all kinds to die for! The place was very intimate in an old brownstone east of Michigan Avenue, the food was excellent, and the service was superb. I asked the waiter for his recommendation on several courses, and he hit a home run with them all. While certainly pricy, its the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion!!

The first time was way better than the second. The intimacy of the dining area was enjoyable both times but the food was much better the first time. Both times the menu was priced fixed at around $100 pp. The table location seems to have a lot to do with your experience. The corner tables are much superior to side by side tables. There is a great dress code, and the atmosphere is calm, especially with no large tables to fill the air with "Merriment"!

The staff was always friendly and I will go back. The portions are small, so don't expect a "Buffet" feeling when leaving!

Service was great but that's about all that was positive about Les Nomades.

The food was mediocre, the decor very boring, and the ambiance suited for people in their late 80s. Dinner for 2 with one of the cheapest bottles of wine was $400+.

There are many better alternatives in Chicago for that kind of money.
