What a lovely surprise! From the first greeting to our entry into one of the beautiful, old-school dining rooms, we felt the tradition and values of this place. Our waitress was a delight, offering not just the usual menu suggestions, but a warmth and friendliness that delighted us. The food was excellent and we loved the lobster bisque, oysters (so many choices) and other treats. The crab choices are daunting but all good - read the whole menu before you decide. They also offer an excellent wine list and when our chosen champagne wasn't chilled, we were provided a glass of sparkling till our wine had reached the proper temperature. This place is like an old-world supper club with the elegance so missing in many places. Despite large numbers of diners, it was pretty quiet and you could have a nice chat with your group. We'll have to return if only to try the things we didn't have room to try. They also do a lovely dessert plate for birthdays - I celebrated mine there and we were delighted to have this treat end our meal.
