Been here several times and never dissatisfied. Very fresh fish and the New England clam chowder was outstanding. Service was a bit wanting, especially considering it was a slow night. I'll be back.

Very very slow service on a Wednesday night. Totally unacceptable. Good food selection and decent preparation. Had a crab cake that was quite soggy but I wasn't sure if that was the style or not but it wasn't good. Atmosphere was good and I think I would give them another try.

Practically around the corner from my hotel, this restaurant offered me an astonishingly good lunch of crab and shrimp bisque and a lobster roll. Indeed, I can't remember anything finer elsewhere. Intriguing menu, too, to be explored on future visits. Quiet, courteous, and attentive service. And the long and narrow space running back from the street is most attractively furnished and lit. A pleasure for all senses. Highly recommended.

Chicago has so many outstanding restaurants with so many ethnic choices that a place like Catch 35 has some hefty competition. That said, Catch 35 seems to have carved out a nice spot for itself in the "reasonably" priced special dinner. It is located right in the loop and has a nice open feel. High ceilings, long dining room with multiple half levels. The food itself is very very good and priced right. It's a pleasant and happy feel for sure.

nice and quiet so my wife and I could catch up. Service was attentive and food came almost too fast for us to enjoy our time
