A truly amazing experience! The food was very good and the service efficient. In this restaurant you can really enjoy a wide variety of meats, cooked to perfection and very tasty. Aslo the buffet of starters and the side dishes were good.
An extensive selection of fine wines accompanied the dishes.
The venue and atmosphere are great for large groups.

This was nice, it was a good experience and peaceful time. You need to know that it is going to be expensive and is very meat intensive. We will plan to go again for sure, but it won't be for awhile.

Very kind service, and attentive staff.

First, you must understand that you come here to eat a lot of meat, a lot.
It is also pricey, so make sure you come here in the mood to eat your money's worth.
This is for sure not a first date kind of place, it gets busy, and loud, not a romantic kind of setting, don't expect to have long conversations (maybe come early during a weekday if you want it a bit more quiet)

I've been to this restaurant many times, first time I was overwhelmed and ate too quick and felt stuffed. I have learned it is best to pace yourself, small portions at a time to flavor the meats and prevent it from getting cold. Basically, a do it yourself tasting menu. I also chose items that I don't typically have at home, like the lamb chops, smoked salmon, foreign cheese etc.

I don't even order dessert or after dinner coffee since I am full.

Also, since the meats are really salty, drink plenty of water afterwords. I used to wake up in the middle of night with what I call "meat sweats", really thirsty, so drink a lot of water.

Make sure the next morning you don't have any major or active business, since you will have a meat hangover.

All in all, I love this place, and I have been to many of this theme of restaurant (even in Brazil), and luxury wise, this is the nicest.

There are a couple of more "budget" restaurants like this in the city, even offering groupons, but Fogo, IMHO, is the best.

Tip: Lunch is Cheaper, also sometimes they run giftcard deals, so that makes it more affordable.

Food is fabulous in taste as well as presentation! Atmosphere is lovely & clean. Our waiter Guillermo, who was very charming as well as extremely knowledgeable & seemed to know exactly what we wanted without us saying a word! My friend & I have lived & traveled the world & agree this was 1 of the most fabulous food experiences of all! Thank you Guillermo...we will be back!!! Lady Solomon.

I went here Friday night with a group from work and I have to say, for a person that isn't huge on eating meat...the food was fantastic!! You walk in and there's a bar area to the left and seating to the front along with a rather large buffet. The buffet has some salmon that's to die for. It's filled with vegetables, cheeses, salads, etc..well worth adding it to your meal. Now comes the meat. You have a card with a red side and a green side...Green means bring it on, red means I need a break. You have a ton of guys bringing these large slabs of meat to the table and cutting it fresh right then and there. Lamb, chicken in bacon, fillets, ribeye, sausages, everything you can imagine. This place is MUST visit. I fully intend on going back. You'll shell out some dough, but you'll feel like it was worth every penny.
