Description: Fogo de Chão(R) (fo-go dèe shoun), is an authentic Southern Brazilian steakhouse. In 1979, Fogo(R) began sharing the gaucho way of preparing meat in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Today, our gaucho chefs still expertly grill each of our 20 cuts of meat and offer you continuous tableside service. We invite you to enjoy the delicious preparations of our gaucho chefs along with our gourmet market table, authentic Brazilian side dishes, and award-winning wine list.

Fogo de Chao knows how to put on a feast. My daughter can not go to Chicago without stopping by. Never had a bad meal. Too full when I leave. :-)))

I love Brazilian steak houses, and there wasn't anything extremely unique about this one, but the service was excellent, and the food was excellent as well. The ambiance was the only slight negative, as it was noisy, and not very intimate, unlike the nearby Texas de Brazil. I would go back, but I do give the slight edge to Texas de Brazil if you're going for a Brazilian steakhouse.

Was recommended this by people in the uk and the reviews on here.

Started off well and with polite staff who told us all about the fogo experience.

We went and got some food and the staff were rushing around us pulling out our seats every time we moved etc, a bit much but thats how they do it.

The meat was coming round very quickly but was a lot of the same 5/6 things. These were nice but very salty. Everything seemed over seasoned.

Eventually some different variations of meat came out but by this time we were full.

We told them we were full and the waiter tried to push us for desserts even though we explained we had had enough. Then no staff came near us for over 20 minutes even though we had asked for the bill, like they were waiting to see if we would eventually have dessert.

Eventually caught the eye of the manager who rushed over and asked if everything was ok. We explained and he rushed off to get the bill. He was very good and tried to rectify the situation which was good of him but had ruined what was a fairly good meal.

Not sure i would return, not to this branch anyway.

If you like meat, this is the place for you! Amazing sangria and the most delicious meat selection imaginable! We went for my boyfriend's birthday and were in a group of amount 10. Service was good and overall a great spot for large groups since you aren't waiting on a bunch of individual entrees to be delivered. It's a must try restaurant and was hands down one of the best meals we had in 2013...looking forward to returning this year!

Who complains about too much food? They don't come to your table and force feed you. If you're full, flip over the little red circle and the waiters will stop offering you food.

This place is fabulous. We go here for special occasions. You really feel like you're in the city. The traffic is a little difficult, but we've never had a problem with the valet service.

It's not cheap, but we've never been disappointed. The bacon-wrapped chicken breast and bacon-wrapped filet are out of this world. Whether you want to impress a client, celebrate a special occasion, or just feel pampered and indulged, this is the place.
