Based on Trip Advisor and Open Table reviews, took my 20-something son there for dinner while I was in town on business. Turned out to be a great choice. Respectful and efficient service. Crowd clearly enjoying the food and each other enhanced the upbeat ambiance. Portions matched the prices and food lived up to reviewers' comments.

Visited with three friends on a Thursday night. Luckily we reserved a table in advance.
The steakes are fantastic (and big!) served excactly as ordered. They are reasonable priced around 30$, Everything is very professional at this place, the food was served quickly. A bit noicy (the place was full), not that we were bothered, just for your info.

We went on a Tuesday during Restaurant Week (we didn't know it was Restaurant Week so figured Tuesday night would be a short wait, we were wrong). Due to the crowd the wait was around 35 minutes, but well worth the wait. The service and food are amazing. I had the broiled prime sirloin steak with a balsamic reduction and shallot sauce that was simply wonderful. While my friends took some of their food home I ate it all. The redskin mashed potatos were plentiful and I also managed to finish those. Wait staff was very attentive, offered us more bread during our wait for our food and explained all the specials quite well . Delightful dining experience.

We were staying at the intercontinental on Michigan avenue and asked the receptionist for a good steakhouse, she told us about wildfire... We took a cab to this place and saw a Lamborghini parked in front of it and I thought that my pockets will get empty by the time we finish eating but i was surprised at the total bill amount, it was only 150$ for 3 persons alcohol included... I had prawns with coconut... It was simply amazing and their crab cakes were also amazing, the steak we ordered was out of this world. After having our mains we asked for one serving of chocolate lava cake, our waiter brought a football sized cake to our table, of course we were not able to finish it but overall this place is a must visit if you are in chicago
