“Disappointed”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 25, 2013

Have been to may Roy's restaurants in Hawaii, Orlando , California and Arizona so was really lookng forward to trying the Chicago location. My wife and I ordered the Mahi Mahi and Ono, which were both tasty but lacked the same feeling as we got in other Roy restuarants. Our waitress was not that good either which defintely played a role. Even the souflle, which is my wufe's favorite, did not ooze out as it normally does. Something lacks at this particular location

“Always a winner!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2013 via mobile

We visited Roy's Chicago and experienced Monday's prix fix dinner special. Totally worth it! The coconut shrimp appetizer was hot and flavorful and the filet of beef was the one of the most tender steaks I've ever eaten. The chocolate souffle was wonderful as always.

“Not at all worth the price”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2013

We were so excited to go here for our 1st anniversary, but please save yourself the money. The sushi was way overpriced and mediocre. We went in July 2013 and the ambience was wonderful, but to me I want high quality sushi. As nice as the wait staff was and cute ambience, I would never go back and wouldn't recommend it to others. I make better sushi at home, which is sad, because I don't make it often!

“Great Staple”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

Roy's is great for a special occasion or for a nice night out on the town. The food is pretty unique to anything else. Its fusion, includes alot of fish dishes including sushi! Most of the appetizers are amazing. Its a chain but i have only been to this location. Great ambiance, great food,

“Can't go wrong at Roy's”

I have enjoyed dinner at several Roy's and this one did not disappoint. As always, excellent seafood and drink selections. Our server, Molly, was gracious and helpful - a wonderful ambassador for Roy's and Chicago.
