I was on vacation in Chicago ad was staying with friends in Lincold Square. Thai sounded great or dinner especially since it seemed EVERY restaurant worth going to downtown was booked solid. Honestly I wasn't expecting much but Spoon Thai was fabulous!!!
The menu had a lot to offer including the Americanized Thai food, Pad Thai, Pad See Eue, etc. but in the back of the menu were really authentic Thai dishes!!! We ordered one, the Thai sausage, as an appetizer and it was delicious! The yellow curry and the Ban Me pork noodles were also outrageous!
Considering I was disappointed about not going downtown I could not have been more pleased with where we ended up. The service wasn't the best but the food certainly made up for it. I look forward to visiting it again on my next trip!!!
