Great location, wonderful service (better than a Four Seasons), spectacular room / amenities, beautiful place. Very comfortable, welcoming, no snootiness, just A+++ service and quality. Can't wait to come back. In my top 2-3 in the US.

Got a great rate of just over $300 per night through Hotwire. The service was fantastic! Such great friendly people smiling and wanting to help you anyway they can. We had a regular King room which was very clean and actually very homey. The bed was soooo comfortable and that's a big deal to me. Loved the bathroom set up and the rain shower. I enjoyed soaking in the tub every night after all the daytime walking. We used the car service more than once and Tony is great!!!! He went above and beyond while helping us get into the John Hancock lounge. Very reasonable mini bar prices and fast room service. Overall, an amazing stay. Great location and very close to everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again if we ever return to Chicago!

Although I live in the Chicago area, I stay in the city from time to time to facilitate late night festivities, and stumbled on the Langham a few weeks after it opened via a deal at Hotwire. Boy, what a lucky find! The Mies van der Rohe building is an unexpected home for this spectacular hotel. From the curbside greeting to the bell check attendants to the reservations desk, all staff were uncommonly courteous and helpful. I checked my suitcase early, and when I returned to check in, it was as if everyone was waiting for my arrival. The entire check-in process was an exercise in serene hospitality. Upon arrival at my floor, I was amazed by the long wood-panelled hallway to my room, decorated with Oriental art and mirrors. The room upon entry felt like a suite, even though it is the smallest on offer. A closet and dressing area, with lovely wood built-ins that are thoughtfully appointed, a bathroom suite that is more like a 3-part spa with ultra-luxury fixtures and finishes, and an amazing, comfortable bed facing a massive flat screen TV, located next to a lacquer chest containing the fridge and bar, and a delightful coffee set-up featuring a Nespresso machine and genuine silver and china service. The coffee was amazing, although the card explaining how to use the Nespresso machine requires excellent vision due to the extremely small images.

This is what a luxury hotel experience should be!

The moment we pulled our vehicle up to Valet - the great experience started....Greeted by Elliot and his fine companions...Everything was removed and we were escorted to Check-in....

Check-in was fast, wonderful....
Atmosphere was fantastic...really well designed....bright, happy, nice...

Rooms were great....Very well out-fitted...again, very spacious, with great amenities....

Traveling with my wife and 2 boys - Age 10 and 6 - Pool was super, hot-tub even better....
Work-out facility is probably the best I have ever experienced....Hotel is very new - July, 2013 opening....

Everything about the hotel is great - good tourist suggestions, restaurant recommendations....sometimes a private limo ride around to our favorite places....

Overall experience - Top...will be back for longer stay....THANKS

Room Tip: Just ask....all rooms were great....

Service at its best, from check in to check out this place is top notch. I am unable to pinpoint why my stay at the Langham was so incredible – it’s was the whole package. Beds are comfortable, clean room, lots of space, nice views, warm pool, and top it with great service. Nothing forced about the way you are treated at the Langham, it seems to come natural. I believe I would have been treated the same way if I were famous. Travelle was a great experience, Patricia, made the experience a delight, she offered suggestions and was very knowledgeable. I frequently visit Chicago and I WILL make Lanham a regular.

My favorite hotel in the states has always been the Mandarin Oriental in San Francisco, however that changed last Wednesday. A new hotel has emerged in Chicago land and it is beyond amazing! It is the Langham Hotel .my daughter Nd I were out there to set up her apartment. We booked the Langham through Hotwire. We thought that we would stay at the Trump because of the area but to our pleasure it turned out to be the Langham. It is a few weeks old. Everyone from their tears to the bell men were lovely. Our maid was extremely attentive as well.
Upon Arrival we checked in and we were immediately upgraded to a suite with stunning views of the city and Partially facing Wacker and the side view was the Trump across the road. When I say they have stopped at nothing to ensure that we would enjoy their hotel. Robes, automatic draperies, heated towel rack in the bath, etc.
Our hats go off to the entire staff at the Langham. Kevin the bartender from Boston(go Red Sox) was so pleasant and engaging as well, from the waiter at beeakfast remembering my decaf iced coffee, we felt right at home.
We will be real soon!

Room Tip: We stayed in room 702

On arriving well before check in, we were promptly shown our room and left to get settled. The room itself was beautiful, and the personal coffee machine an added bonus! The hotel was in a great location, right between downtown and the Magnificent Mile, on the river. We used the gym, which was fantastically equipped and on arriving back at the hotel we were always welcomed back. All in all, the Langham made our already fantastic stay in Chicago, amazing!
