This one woman show at Theatre Wit was entertaining, witty, poignant , and right on the mark with today's events! Loved Nora and enjoyed the Qand A with Designer Peach Carr after the show as well. Intimate theatre at its best!

The building began life as a post office, went through a couple of creative reincarnations, and is now a completely renovated theater complex. The play we saw was the brilliant, two-character musical, "The Last Five Years." It runs 90 minutes without an intermission, as two sides of the same intense storiy intersect on stage. Try to see this powerful play before it closes.

My Daughters and I attended Glass Menagerie and the entire experience was superb.
First off- the play- we were , as they say in the UK - gobsmacked- stunningly performed.
At the conclusion, which is sobering and leaves you feeling sad but instantly the full house (sat. night) were on their feet applauding after the shock that the narrator main character had delivered his final line and it was really over wore off.
THe theater was very accom. as I had accidentally double ordered online and he was quick to refund my $ and get back to me. Drinks and snacks were avail. A great experience.

THE VENUE: - A small two(?) theater space with a concession stand that sells cocktails, local candy. The location is not bad as you can park across the street in a bar lot. The theater we were in had about 70 seats and was clean and comfortable. The seats were highly sloped so that every seat is a good one, even for someone who is not tall.

THE PERFORMANCE: We saw "Completeness" which was a play about a relationship between grad students....one who was a CS major and the other who was a Biology major. Each was researching respective problems in their field and one helped the other while exploring all facets and challenges of a young relationship and relating them analogously to science. There were 4 actors and I think 7 parts. All 4 actors were terrific and had to be good to know and understand all the technical lines. Afterward, the director conducted a discussion about the play with audience members who chose to stick around.

This performance was a preview (dress rehearsal) and thus cost about $15 a person. My understanding is that full price for a play in production is probably about $25 per person. They have plays on the schedule all the time and you can join with a membership for a monthly fee and see every performance they have. It would be a great deal if we lived in the area......
