Beautiful apartment and great service

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Oct 9, 2015
I had to write a review for this place! The apartment was really quite luxurious. I happen to be a man who loves to cook and the kitchen was FULLY equipped. I had every type of pot and pan and dishware and silverware I could ever need along with blender, toaster, full size fridge and a new electric stove and microwave oven. The apartment was cleaned once a week and the TWO women who cleaned my place were as nice as they were efficient. In not time, they had my place spotless. The bed was huge and very comfortable. TV's in every room with regular cable and very good internet service. Very clean and modern business center, laundry room and a good size fitness center. In short, you won't be wanting for anything. Did I mention there was an indoor pool with a view of the lake?
I highly recommend this place. Definitely a good value. And excellent location as well.

Very accessible by the L from Midway. Under renovation so rates were slashed. Kitchenette allowed us to eat in. Gym upstairs has treadmills and weights but the pool is kind of smelly and gross, and the rug in the gym area looks disgusting. Overall, what with our clean, centrally-located room, we loved it. Easy to walk everywhere: Millenium Park, the Willis Tower, art Institute, Field Institute and Shedd Aquarium, Millenium Mile, Navy Pier, and train to get us out to see Frank Lloyd Wright's house in Oak Park. Grocery store within walking distance. Would definitely stay here, again.

The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. Very close to parks, shopping, and restaurants. Very nice workout facilities as well as parking ramp available. There was some construction going on, but still fairly easy to navigate through. We would certainly return to stay in the future.

Convenient location and walk to the Park, Chicago's theatre district, Millenium Mile, River and Lake. Secure and alert personnel make the difference.

Room tip: Look for rooms overlooking the Park rather than the front which opens on Michigan Avenue. Rooms facing back are a bit quieter.

My stay at the Manilow Suites was a pleasure. My suite was clean and comfortable; and the service was outstanding. The location is convenient for downtown adventures with good shopping to the north and the museums to the south. I recommend Wildberry’s around the southern corner for breakfast and Tavern At the Park or Giordano's (both in back of the building) for dinner. Sticky Fingers Popcorn across the street is as good as, if not better than, Garrett’s (in my opinion). I look forward to staying at the Manilow again.

Room tip: Ask for a room on the lake side, towards the south end of the buliding and on the higher numbered floors for the best view.
