I had never heard of Joseph's, but my sister in law likes to try non chain, local businesses. They have a nice contemporary interior, pretty traditional Italian menu. I have worked in a restaurant before and Sunday is not always the best night to eat out, especially at a little place--whatever is left over from the weekend is usually what get served. All the specials were surprisingly mexican-ish, the soup was Cream of Jalapeno! It was delicious. I thought the prices were a tad high, almost $20 avarage for pasta. But the food was really good. Parking is awful, just a tiny lot in back and then street parking along 111th.
