We were in town to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and that morning walked from our hotel to eat at Yolk.

I really liked the strawberry/orange juice. Both our breakfast meals were completed in a timely fashion, and the eggs cooked as requested. We both enjoyed it quite a lot, and will plan to visit again if we are once again downtown one morning.

My family and I came here on a spring break trip. The food was AMAZING! We came, instead of once, twice in a roe! It was awesome food and I totally recommend it!

If you are going to hit the museums, this is the place to fuel up with a great breakfast. Large selection of breakfast foods, and great service. Also, great iced tea....wouldn't expect a breakfast place to have great iced tea, but they did!

Thought we'd try a new place during our weekend visit to Chicago. I really wanted to like this place but the food wasn't very good. We ordered 'regular' pancakes with strawberries; the fruit was good, pancakes were undercooked. Also ordered 'multi-grain' pancakes; they were also undercooked and gummy. Blueberries on top were delicious. We ordered the 'real' vermont maple syrup, which helped. The worst part?? The coffee was really horrible. Not sure if they don't clean the pot often enough, just let it sit too long or if it's the coffee quality, but it really was not very good. I wish one of us had ordered a savory dish - that might have been better than the pancakes. Went on a Saturday morning and had to wait only 15 mins to get seated. Waitress was lovely. Food was very average.

Didn't have to even eat lunch. Big portions and able to go all day walking after eating here. Good vegetarian options as well.
