I had not enough time in Chicago but wanted to have a blues bar experience. It is a must to do in Chicago, right? This place is one of them. It was just I was expecting. We paid 10$ per person at the entrance. It is a small, cozy bar with great blues music. I would go if I visit Chicago again.

Great service, awesome music. I just dont recommend going to the toilet there (sanitary conditions and no lock). But if you are in Chicago, going here is definetly a must! (Cover was 7 dollars pp)

If you are looking for a small, intimate venue with great blues - look no further.
Right across the street from Kingston Mines....another favorite. Checked it out during a recent trip to Chicago and loved the vib.

Had an awesome night at this jamming local joint!
We picked this place above higher rated, more commercialized venues as we wanted a more authentic experience. The venue is nothing flash, small but cosy, be sure to arrive early to snag a good seat.
The headline act, Ronnie Hicks & Co, did not disappoint. What a show! The boys sure know how to engage the audience and rock the house! Despite the fantastic live serenade from Ronnie to me 'on behalf of my husband', our favourite was the guitarist - he was so into his music. The drummer and bass player were also excellent!
A small $8 cover charge at the door was well worth the quality of entertainment. So impressed we bought the CD and played it on a 4-CD repeat, all the way across the border to Toronto!
Good selection of beer and spirits at the bar, but be sure to have dinner before you go!
Highly recommended!

Small, charming, picturesque and lovely place. If you want to experience real blues jazz music from Chicago, this is an excellent place to go. They have live music, bar and snack plates. They have a souvenir store and a wide selection of drinks from the bar. Staff is friendly and service is fast. Nice experience!
