We ate here with a large group. The staff was very kind and professional. We ordered two bottles of wine, one of which they didn't have in stock, but with an extensive wine list, this could be expected.
We ordered several appetizers, the mussels were unbelievable, best I've ever had in any coastal town. The scallops were also excellent, very fresh with good flavor and prepared with class.
Main course, I had the Risotto with steamed shellfish. Again, fantastic and well prepared. The flavor was excellent and all the seafood very fresh.
Another in our group had spaghetti which was very run of the mill. Nothing outstanding, nothing unusual, just spaghetti, and somewhat plain. This same person also had a caesar salad and raved about it. I had a bite and it was very good.
Finally, one person in our group ordered veal. This was the let down of the night. There was a strong chemical, almost soapy taste to the veal according to 4 of us that all tried it. Wait staff were very gracious, just a disappointing entree.
Total service time was on the longer side, but nothing outrageous.
Overall our night was good. Not the best ever, but good and what I would say is acceptable or met expectations, didn't exceed them, but met.
