On a very hot summer morning we met our guide in the coolness of the lobby of a building on East Upper Wacker drive. Everything had carefully been taken care of, including a bottle of cool watter for everyone. And then the tour started, walking up and down the bridges and paths around the Chicago river. The guide knew a short story about every corner and showed us places we would otherwise never have seen. And to literally bring the tour to a height, she showed us up onto the terrasses at the top of one of the Marina towers, from where we had a magnificent view over the whole centre of the city. Definitely to be recommended !
