“Yum for everyone!”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

Amazing selection of beers, many of which are available to take home in growlers...Burgers looked and smelled fabulous, but I opted for vegetarian options. Sweet potato cakes yummy as bite size appetizers. Pecan crusted tofu on braised vegetables was excellent. Great menu, something for everyone to eat and drink...Great vibe and energy. Can't wait to return.

“Good Brews, Good Food - No TVs (A Plus)”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

Basic American type foods. The hamburgers are loaded with too many toppings for my taste. Very good beers. Good service. Busy place, nice atmosphere. The drawback for me is it is a very big restaurant. However as a big plus - no televisions on the walls - what a relief. I also had the just released Infiltrator Doppelbock - which I would rate as good but not extraordinary - tasted more like a sweet thick Scotch Ale than a traditional doppelbock to me.

“Great beer, great food, okay atmosphere”
Reviewed February 19, 2013

I love all the beers from Revolution; they really know what they're doing. This was my first time eating at their brewpub, however, and as a vegan I was disappointed in the lack of flexibility with the vegan diet. They did have a few options, and so I went for the vegan tofu sandwich. It was good, but not overly flavorful. I also went on a Saturday during the lunch hour, which I knew was a bad idea, but having to wait almost an hour was kind of ridiculous. We were barely even unable to find a place to wait, and the noise level was extreme. Other than that, I'd probably come again, but on a weeknight instead.

“Went twice in the same trip!”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

Recently went to Revolution twice in the same trip to Chicago; once for dinner/drinks and once for brunch. Dinner menu has great, unique selections and brunch was even better. This will definitely become a staple when visiting Chicago.

“Great beer!”
Reviewed February 12, 2013

Went here on the recommendation of my son who has been going here since they opened. Finally got oppertunity to go and really enjoyed it. Place has nice vibe and really unique bar design....we sat upstairs which was quieter..staff very knowlegable about the beer selections and pricing is really good...glad to see that they are now selling retail so I can still enjoy some Eugene Porter even if I can't get to the restaurant...food was really great...steamed mussels were delicious...just wish they had more crusty bread to soak up all the goodness! Burgers were terrific. They also have an area for small parties upstairs....this place does get really busy so be prepared to wait and you have typical Chicago on street parking..we were lucky to score a spot nearby but this place is worth the hassle.
