“Efficient, comfortable, and consistent everytime”

My spouse and I always prefer to stay at Club Quarters whenever we can. This one is situated right in the loop of Chicago - they have a second location not to far away - both are great. The prices are always reasonable and the service is efficient and helpful. Rooms are very clean and minimally decorated. The bed was super comfortable and the view from our corner room was amazing. The fill our own bottle water station is always appreciated. I even have a soft spot for the chain pub downstairs (great whiskey and scotch selection). It is a busy place - lots of people coming and going. Very close to public transportation and taxi's. Has some good Chicago style pizza within a 5 minute walk. My only compliant is that the walls in-between the rooms have a tendency to be a bit thin - hearing neighbors and people in the hallway can be an issue. Otherwise great hotel and one we will stay at again when we are in the city.

Room Tip: I like the upper floors (6 and above) as the streets are busy. The corner rooms have great views.

My family stayed a week and we were very happy and comfortable there. The rooms were a great size and the hotel was in a great location, close to shopping, restaurants and Willis Tower. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the desk manager Michael Perisin. He was so helpful with the check in process, restaurant suggestions, directions and even went out to find us a cab to the airport and had to walk a half a block to find one during rush hour. He was awesome! The hotel is also super clean and very secure and safe for travelers. We will definitely stay there next summer!

Stayed here for 4 nights on a recent trip to Chicago, and the location is the best feature of this hotel. The room was fine, but odd, as the TV was not where you could watch from the bed, but instead mounted on a wall in front of a tiny chair. The snack area in the 'living room' was only stocked once in the dozen times I went down there in 4 days, but the bottled water stations in the hallways were a great touch. With the exception of one woman, the staff seems annoyed when you stopped and asked for something.

Room Tip: Get the biggest room you can get here and it will be about the size of an average hotel room anywher...

I stayed here for a few days while I was in Chicago for work. While the hotel is in a very good location, there are many hotels that are very close by. The rooms at the Club Quarters are very small, and don't offer much in the way of comforts. There are no refrigerators in the rooms, which is unfortunate. The bathrooms are cramped and old. The breakfast at the pub next door is solid, and the staff is very friendly, so overall the Club Quarters rates a 3.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a quick 2 night stopover in Chicago and were very happy with the hotel. It is quite a business like set up but still great for travellers. The location is in the financial district however only a block or so away either way you will find restaurants, etc, only around a 10 min walk to most attractions including millennium park so very good location. The highlights for us in the hotel were definitely the free and quick wi fi, the free printing facilities and the free bottled water which is definitely a rarity in any hotel.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a Bears preseason game. The location was fantastic and only about a 5 minute walk away from Union Station which was very convenient. The hotel itself is well kept and has a very city (cramped) style that could feel claustrophobic at times. The hallways to the rooms are narrow and winding which can be confusing to find your way back to the ice machine or elevators. The rooms them selves are clean and unique (almost like a cruise ship) but are also pretty small. With all that taken into account we enjoyed our stay and free purified water bottles on each floor, we would stay again.

Room Tip: Try to get a suite if you can to get a little more room for yourself, especially if you are a couple...

This hotel is a very pragmatic choice if you wish to be in the heart of Chicago downtown. Location is its prime feature, close to buses and subway stations, good restaurants, river, magnificient mile, museums, and navy pier. Pros: offers fresh made coffee (coffee, decaf, capuccino, latte, espresso) all day every day (in their 2nd floor); free self laundry service (including soap and dryer), gym with machines, fresh water and recyclable bottles, amenities in rooms, excellent wifi signal in the entire building. Cons: you really want a room in the upper floors, not the lower floors. Chicago is a noisy city anyways, we could hear sirens every day (and night) and this is no one's fault. We got a nice room with a beautiful view of the river....but it was right besides the terrace/patio of the neighboring hotel where they hold parties with music any day of the week, especially Fridays and Saturdays. The weekend we spent here were horribly noisy until midnight, so beware of the noise of neighboring buildings.
Pro: We also encounter a few problems during our stay, but the staff was prompt and efficient to solve it. The cleaning service was effective too.
Con: The reception area is tiny and it can get crowded at certain times of the dates, very uncomfortable.
The overall price was reasonable for the location, but be aware that Chicago is an expensive city.
