Owner description: Take a step back in time to the Gilded Age with banker Samuel Nickerson's mansion. Explore all three floors of the museum and discover how the Nickerson family lived and socialized. Tours are an extra $5, but well worth it.

This was such a lovely house to visit. I strongly suggest taking the guided tour. And I was lucky enough that there was a Tiffany expo when I visited.

If you enjoy historic home tours, or decorative arts, I highly recommend visiting. Not fully furnished, but does include a great deal of Tiffany glass. Convenient for downtown visitors.

This is well worth a visit for approx one hour. the house was built in the late 1800s and contains many of the original features that went into this $450,000 construction project. A wonderful piece of Victorian architecture with a superb collection of Tiffany glass

Really enjoyed our recent few hours touring the Driehaus Museum. Stepping through the front door of this former grand home, one is taken back to the splendor of Chicago's Gilded Age. The architecture, art and furnishings are splendid, and if you're a fan of Tiffany glass, this urban mansion is not to be missed! Few of us have known such opulence, but this close look at bygone days of the rich and famous is great fun! Highly recommended.

Beautiful rooms, details, pieces in every room. A grand home tucked away not too far from the hustle and bustle of the Magnificent Mile. Wonderful place to visit and enough information to read the signs or they have tours a few times a day. Docents available for questions if you are doing a self-tour. Lucky to visit during the Tiffany exhibit.
