Hotel was kid friendly and all hotel staff was very friendly.

During my stay I received great customer service. I was checked in and checked out by Mattie. I booked the room for my son’s golden 11th birthday. She offer him a free room service meal and free breakfast the next morning. She was so friendly and informative to us. She made my son’s birthday so much more special. She really went above and beyond for us. I couldn’t thank her enough. Definitely will stay again and recommend to anyone.

Stunning hotel

We just stayed at Aqua for a weekend trip to Chicago. The hotel is gorgeous! Everyone was so kind and friendly to us. The location was perfect walking distance to many great things. The only negative thing was that when we checked in, we booked a city view room and we were told we were upgraded to a park view and we would have a beautiful view of the parks. We got to our 4th floor room and our room only overlooked the street below and we couldn't see the parks at all. We wish we would have turned down the upgrade and just had the city view.

Pros and Cons

Recently stayed here for 3 nights. There was a lot of pros and cons to this place.
Pros:
- The building is a magnificent piece of architecture.
- Good location.
- High end lobby decor.
- Great pool area/property exterior.
- Great room view.
- Reallt great front desk staff that accommodated my early check in.

As far as cons, there was certainly some details that are overlooked for a high end hotel.
-The bed was definitely older resulting in waking up with back pain.
-The sliding door to the bathroom does not fully close. It is aesthetically pleasing but not very functional.
There was other small items like the jets in the jacuzzi not working by the pool, minor stains on the wall and a hair from a previous guest in the bathroom. Things that could have been corrected.

If the beds were upgraded, I would consider it again but not without.
