One of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at. Beautiful room with 240 degree balcony looking out on great architecture of Chicago, with glimpses of the river. Clean, modern furnishings. Coup de grace: immense bathroom with tub, separate shower stall, separate toilet area. Biggest gym, basketball court, weight room we have ever seen in a hotel (usually you get a broken down treadmill and a few bikes). Lobby has a fireplace along a whole wall and plenty of seating. In hotel restaurant as well. Only a few blocks from river in one direction and from Millenium Park in the other. We were very content! All personnel very friendly and helpful.
Only suggestions: Bathroom could use a chair or little divan (it's certainly big enough) to throw your things down on and sink area could have a few more shelves to store cosmetics on. Restaurant was ok, not more. Outdoor roof pool was only 4 feet deep which was a disappointment; indoor pool looked nice. Track around pool area was great for walking/running.
