We had a wonderful time. Chris, our tour guide was informative and fun. We booked the morning tour and although it was early it was definitely worth it. The crowds hasn't yet built up and it made it easier to ride along in the Segway. It was our first time doing it and it was well worth it!

We didn't sign up for the flat tire insurance ($3.00/per person) and wouldn't you know it, my husband got a flat. We were MILES away. This place charges $25 to fix a flat. My husband found a place on along Lakeshore Dr that fixed it for $18. (None of the vendors along the drive sell inner tubes. Missed opportunity for them!) Easy to get a flat because broken glass isn't that uncommon. Beward. (One of you could get insurance and just swap bikes).

We waited to the last minute to find a tour but we waited and got into the Segway tour on Saturday evening. The night was amazing and Quinn, our guide was amazing! He is passionate about his city and is truly one of the best Chicago has to offer!

The ride was great, even though we has a small accident on my part Quinn was quick to respond

It was amazing service and a tour we will never forget! If the segway wasn't available we would have done the bike tour but we wanted to Try something new. Kudos to Quinn!

Highly recommend Bike and Roll Chicago for the Segway tour. My son and I had a great time on the sunrise tour this morning – Bianca was our guide; she was very informative and patient. Sure, 7 am is really early, but there was minimal traffic on the streets and on the bike trail along the lakefront, plus the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. Segways may look a little goofy, but they really are fun to ride and it doesn’t take long to get used to them. I’d definitely go again.

If you want to see some of the great Chicago Landmarks but don't have a lot of time, and/or if you are sick and tired of the hop on hop off buses...then this is the tour for you! Taking a tour using a machine you have no experience with might sound a bit daunting but the Bike and Roll crew made the experience so enjoyable that I definitely plan on taking another tour with them the next time I am back in Chicago! I have outlined some of the great things about the tour below, but the bottom line is this- its a wonderful and enjoyable way to see parts of Chicago!

THE GOOD STUFF
1. Bike and Roll Start point in Millennium park was really easy to find. There were signs were pointing us in the right direction. Also it is one block away from the Brown CTA line, 2 blocks from the Red CTA line, and a lovely walk along Michigan Avenue.
2. Quinn, our tour guide was was superb! He was personable, and encouraging. He has a great sense of humor and he is knowledgeable about his city!
3. The Segways are really easy to ride! Before we set out Quinn trained us all as a group and then individually. By the time we left the starting point we were all comfortable with handling our new vehicle!
4. There were lots of opportunities to stop and take photos of landmarks, the skyline, art, etc.
5. There is a snack/ restroom break
6. The route for the sunset tour brings you to many of the great landmarks along the shore line: Buckingham Fountain, the Shedd Aquarium, the Field Museum etc.
7. Its great for people of all age groups. Our group had people ranging from preteens to 50s, and everyone seemed to be having a good time.
8. Your segway has a little pouch for your valuables. But it is still wise to leave the big purse in your hotel room and just take the necessities. Alternatively, a backpack might be the bag to carry if you must have a bag.
9. You can take in more of Millennium Park before or after your tour!

One note of caution, if you (or someone is your group) cannot stand for prolonged periods of time then Segwaying may not be the best choice.

Also if you take the sunset tour you may want to consider wearing pants instead of shorts since it does get a little bit cooler along the shoreline some evenings.

Happy trails to you!
