This was our Valentine's Day dinner this year and it was a memorable one. Everything from the drinks to the hostess at the front, to the food was amazing. The cocktails before dinner were artfully crafted and very unique. The Lazy Sunday is a must... We tried the hot pretzels as an atmosphere and I could have just drank the hot smoked cheese dip. Our entrees, the chicken/waffles and mac n' cheese were sublime. Our server was down to earth, fun, and very energetic. Try this place for a romantic night out or pre-drinks before hitting the town.

We recently stayed at the Polamar and journeyed down to The Sable for a bite to eat and a cocktail before heading out for the evening. It had a lively bar scene, but also offered a more low key section of seating. We sampled several of the entrees which were all exceptional, including the Lamb Meatballs and Lamb Mini-Burgers. The service was prompt and courteous.

We were staying in the Palomar, so we tried to eat dinner at Sable every night. It was completely booked every night. We decided to go for breakfast and we were glad we did. We went back the next day too. We are a family of 5, and we love to try lots of dishes.
So we all ordered different things and shared. The blueberry pancakes, the enchiladas were wonderful. The lobster fritatta, the chicken and waffles, pigs in a blanket were very good. Unfortunately our server was inattentive. But other servers picked up the slack.

I really enjoyed my visit to Sable. Great to go with friends or on a date. If you like cocktails, try their creations, they are really tasty (we tried several, all very good). We ordered several dishes -recommended by them - and we loved the mini burgers and the mussels. Overall, great restaurant in the center of Chicago!

We had a wonderful Sunday brunch at Sable. The waitstaff is very friendly and know the menu. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. If you are looking for a classy, relaxed brunch. This is the spot!
