“Love the Concept!”
Reviewed August 17, 2014

We kept passing by this place and was intrigued by the sight of several cooks working hard cooking mounds of stir-fry on the flat-top grill. Finally, on our last night and craving some rice (we're from Hawaii, and rice is a daily part of our diet), we decided to try this place out. Even though it was 30 minutes before closing, the restaurant was PACKED! It took us a few minutes to figure out the concept - you are given an empty bowl and a little stick upon which your table number is written. Write your name on the stick. Then go to the "buffet" line where you will select whatever you want to put into your stir-fry: rice or noodles, vegetables, sauces and meats. You can put in as much ingredients as can fit in the bowl (the meats go into a separate, but smaller bowl). You then hand the bowl to the chefs and return to your seat. The server will then serve you your ingredients, which are prepared as a stir-fry. They do have gluten-free and vegetarian options. They also ask if you have any food allergies. If you don't want a stir-fry, you can have it prepared in other ways, too. There is an "unlimited" option, as well. The food tasted great and the ingredients were fresh. Would definitely eat here again!

“Move over BD Mongolian”
Reviewed August 11, 2014

I love hibachi style grilled food! Absolutely love it! This placed was absolutely wonderful! They had really good veggies and I love that your meat and veggies are not in the same bowl. BD Mongolian makes you put raw meat and veggies in the same bowl. Flat Top was nice and the selection was good. I just wish that they had bok choy and more seafood options on the bar and that shrimp wasn't an extra price. I don't eat beef or pork and there was plenty of that. The fried bread that you can get with the meal was amazing! The mojitos were good and the service and wait staff was very nice and very helpful! Kudos!

“hot food designed by yourself”
Reviewed August 8, 2014 via mobile

plz come early in working days, otherwise you have to wait for seats sometime. You can choose various vegetables, meats and sauces and mix them together. For the states, it is delicious enough. And you can ask for more times if your stomach is big~

“Love this place”
Reviewed August 6, 2014

We walked around for about an hour looking for something more than pizza's and subs and stumbled into the Flat Top. We didn't know what to expect, once we figured it out and had the meal, it was the most delicious meal i've ever had at a restuarant. We all had a second plate to go. It was amazing.

I love this restaurant! The concept of Chipotle with an Asian Fusian theme and you've got Flat Top Grill. Pick your own ingrediants; veggies, rice or pasta, protein, sauces, extras. Then you bring your bowl(s) to the chef on the flat top grill and go back to your seat. Your server will deliver your custom meal right to your table. Make whatever meal you like and customize your sauces to your pallet. Nice environment and great food. We ate there 3 times in a week.
