Loved my tour! Took it in the summer of 2011 and have been recommending it to people ever since. Loved the mix of walking through the city and hearing about the history mixed with enjoying delicious food and treats. As a vegetarian, they were very accommodating and kept checking in to make sure the food selections were good for me. All in all, a fantastic thing to do for anyone who has been to Chicago many times or never been before!

Super fun thing to do in Chicago even in the winter! We had a blast! Learned some fun Chicago food trivia in the process. Our guide was awesome. She even sat and ate and chatted with the group like an old friend. Lots of fun!

In spite of the single digit temperatures, I decided to find something to do in downtown Chicago on a weekday. My visit here is short and I wanted to have something to talk about. Thanks to Tastebud Tours, there was a Flavors of Chicago food tour available and it was worth every penny. The lower temperatures kept the group small, so we were pretty easy to manage. The Guide, Annalyn (sp?) was quite personable and took the right amount of time to let us know what we were going to be seeing each time we set out. Even the longest walk in the cold temperatures wasn't that bad if you were dressed for it. Each stop was appropriate as it represented a piece of Chicago history tied to food. Don't eat breakfast....there's plenty to eat over the 3+ hours.
I look forward to coming back and trying some of their other tours.

Although the weater was cold....last week, we had a wonderful tour! My husband, myself, my three adult children, their significant others and my 2 year old grandson all thoroughly enjoyed listening to Jamie Lynn tell the history of all of the food venues we visited. We had more than enough to eat and were delightfully entertained by our hosts as we enjoyed eating our way through Chicago!
