This is a very beautiful property. I had a large, luxurious double queen room with a fabulous bathroom. Very soothing colors, an excellent respite...except that the noise in the hotel travels like no tomorrow! The echo throughout the halls carried far into the room, waking me several times during the night.

Room Tip: The King is VERY small!

I recently enjoyed a weekend stay at the JW in Chicago. The room was a fair size for a city hotel and the bathroom was amazing!! The bathroom had a nice double sink vanity and a nice big shower. I have to say the the concierge was great too! I asked for a dinner reco and they sent me to the Gage just a few blocks up on the Mag Mile. Dinner was outstanding!
If you are in the city I would reccomend the JW in a heartbeat!!

Room Tip: Ask for a room that doesn't face the streets. City hotels are always a bit noisy but ours was really quiet!

We got a deal here for $150/night and stayed here for 3 nights - excellent location, lovely staff and even though the rooms were a bit smaller side they were very comfy .

If you can get access to the executive lounge on the 12th floor - it has free breakfast and small meals at dinner and snacks the whole day through PLUS FREE INTERNET.

Eric the concierge is great as was the lady who worked at the concierge but do not take directions from the other concierge (slightly shorter chap) - he has no sense of direction!

Rooms are spacious and bathroom was huge... very nice hotel for the business traveller when staying in downtown Chicago.
inner rooms had no view obviously ... but good hotel if you have a company rate...
quiet rooms that let you sleep ...

Room Tip: ask for room with view to the street...not courtyard.

We had a great stay! We were located just blocks from everything. Easy walking to the Wills Tower, Giordanos and the subway. Our last night, we had a nightcap at the lounge. Lisa was fabulous! Very friendly, knowledgable and personable. She made our last night great. Other team members should feed off of her. We sometimes walked into the hotel and the guys with suits wouldn't even say hello. It's just hello, gentlemen. All in all, everything was great. I recommend JW Marriott Chicago.
