“Why can't I find a decent Chinese restaurant in Chinatown?”
Reviewed March 18, 2012

There isn't much to Chinatown in Chicago, period! None of the restaurants are ever rated as good, there isn't really anywhere to walk around and, frankly, it isn't that safe of an area to go to.

“Yeah, it's a Chinatown.”
Reviewed March 16, 2012

It's not San Francisco's or New York's, and not as large so don't expect it to be like the Chinatown of other cities.

“Great for everyone”
Reviewed March 4, 2012

there are a ton of places to eat, from nice restaurants to little take out places, and most of them are very authentic, so keep that in mind if youre used to eating "americanized" chinese food haha. there are a ton of little gift shops and you can usually find some neat, unique stuff for a good price. there are lots of little parks and areas that are good for picture taking, so this is a must if you are visiting chicago, or even if you already live here.

“Chinese food??? Oh for sure.”
Reviewed March 2, 2012

If you are looking for authentic Chinese food, this is the right place. Sundays are especially good because there is Dim Sum everywhere.

“Which restaurant to choose?”
Reviewed February 23, 2012

China town is rather small but authentic. There were several stores and grocery markets and what seemed like a million restaurants. Take the red train to Cermak and China town is right at the base of the stairs. We ate at Moon Palace and the food was pretty good.
