I went as part of a group of 8, and we needed to get to know each other and have some solid business discussions. Table was set up in a tight square (far better for conversation than a long narrow setup), slightly off the main dining room. Waiter was very attentive, and creative in helping all decide. He pulled together a medly of apps for the table, served family style, that were excellent.
Main courses were excellent, pastas in particular went over very well. Wine list was limited, but had sufficient choices. The bar itself was big, with lots of regulars happily eating at the bar.
Ambiance was nice - high energy, but not too loud. Great location - easily walkable from Michigan in good weather, and a steady stream of cabs in the January cold.
