Owner description: We are Chicago's river transportation service. An iconic fleet of black and yellow boats, we serve all three branches of the Chicago River from March to November. Our stops include Michigan Avenue, Chinatown, North Avenue, Clark and LaSalle, The Chicago Riverwalk, and Union and Ogilvie Train Station. There is no better way to get around Chicago than by boat!

Cruising down the Chicago River from Michigan Avenue to Chinatown on the Water Taxi is awesome! You pass by all the beautiful architectural wonders of Chicago and end up in beautiful Ping Tom Memorial Park just outside of Chinatown. You beat the traffic while enjoying the scenery. A must-do if you are in Chicago!

We caught the Chicago Water Taxi outside of Ogilvie Station and cruised to Navy Pier. It was a beautiful Chicago summer's afternoon, about 72 degrees with a cool breeze coming off the Lake. The cost was very reasonable, and we enjoyed spectacular views of iconic Chicago architecture. The ride was smooth and ended too soon! This is the way to get around Chicago if you need to get from the Union Station area to Navy Pier or on to the Field Museum. Can't recommend enough!

I used the water taxi for a 45 minute tour of the river. Got to see and hear about a lot of the buildings and architecture along with history of Chicago. I recommend doing a water tour while in the city.

Very nice ride up the river. Was able to look at all the tall buildings and was a great way to get uptown without taking a bus or train

When your feet hurt from walking all day this is a great alternative. It makes a few stops in Chicago and chances are there will be one close to your hotel. Another little opportunity to sightsee by the water. Great service to offer to the tourist
