Very authentic and soothing indeed. The food / drink was not bad either. We've really enjoyed the jamming session. Nice to see a lot of jazz lovers in this place.

“Enjoy live music and a beverage”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2013

I came here with some girl friends who were in town visiting. Great way to get a taste of the Chicago jazz scene. Andy's is well known and it did not disappoint. We just had drinks at the bar and listened to the band. We went early for pre-dinner cocktails around $5 and paid a less expensive cover ($10). We ate dinner elsewhere, so I can't comment on the food. Decent drink selection, typical city prices. Just a nice casual jazz bar with pleasant atmosphere.

“Great”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 5, 2013

I saw some reviews that talked badly about the price and food. I did not find it that way. Service was very good. Not pushy on the drinks. Food was very good for this type of place. Highly recommend the baked brie and the French onion soup.

The music was exactly what we were looking for

“Wonderful jazzclub for visitors”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2013

The jam session was wonderful. The houseband was great but the drop in musicians were really good..they were young but talented. Look forward to coming hear again. The Hampton Inn & Suites offered us a discount card and it was accepted at the door, $5 off admission.

“Great Sunday night”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 20, 2013

We were here for a few days and thought we'd end our trip with an evening of Jazz. After a quick search, Andy's came highly rated and it didn't dissapoint. There was a $10 cover charge and we had a table reservation. We were seated immediately and right next to the stage. The music was great, just a jam session by the house band playing old classics.

Food was good too. Would highly recommend. Great atmosphere.
