Great great night last Thursday, July 11. Joanna Connors on the north stage and an incredible bluesman on the main. Does anyone know who that bluesman was? I truly want to pick up some of his releases.
The Kingston Mines warrants another trip from Vancouver to Chicago just to hang all hours of the night and morning. The staff were great, the mostly young white crowd were enthusiastic and full of soul. It is so fantastic that the blues is alive and well in all communities of the great city of Chicago.
