“Mike Wheeler at the Kingston Mines!”
Reviewed October 19, 2012

Caught the early act, where Mike and Bass player were warming up on acoustics. I loved it - but when they switched rooms and brought out the full band and amps - the house ROCKED! These guys are over the top!!

Then back to the first room for the second act, which were jamming! An hour of this and then back to room 2 for more of the first. (you get the picture..... until 4am!!??)

The crowd was 'older', and more appreciative of great music. Loved it!!! highly, highly recommend!

“Good times”
Reviewed October 8, 2012

Great place to hear two different bands on two different stages. Because you move from one side of the bar to the other, you get to sit at a different seat every time. Taxis are always there so no need to try and hail one. Staff were great.

“Let's spend the night together”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

It may have become a sort of tourist attraction but it is still good fun. This large blues bar has two stages and offers blues and classic rock alternatively until 4 am. The entry costs 12 usd on regolar nights. Drinks are then relatively cheap. Let's spend the night together!

“If you visit Chicago, you have to go to a Blues Club and this one is great!”
Reviewed September 28, 2012

A little ways out of downtown, it looks a bit seedy on the outside, but this place is awesome. With two sections & stages, there is plenty of room to sit, stand or dance as you see fit! We went on a Saturday night and the place was hopping - until 5am, apparently. We didn't eat anything and only drank beer, but everyone else there seemed to be enjoying whatever they were having, so I'm guessing it was good. Very fun night out.
