I have been to the conservatory many times. The plant life is changed with seasons and also to highlight certain flora and artists. One in particular that was stunning was the blown glass sculpture artist Dale Chihuly,. His art was intermixed with the flowers and plants, amazing. The drawbacks to the conservatory are difficulty in parking and the building is small, limiting their exhibition space. It is however well worth visiting.

Surprised and delighted by the conservatory and then a wonderful walk around the Boardwalk Nature Trail on an amazing day in CHi-Town!

The Conservatory helps to make Lincoln Park a really beautiful neighbourhood. Being free certainly helps, but the staff of the conservatory have designed the exhibits to help you experience them. I appreciated that while walking through there were signs that indicate points of interest - for example, a rare or particularly magnificent bloom or an invitation to smell a plant's perfume. You certainly don't need to be a horticulturalist or hold a degree in Botany to appreciate the Conservatory.

They do an amazing job on a wonderful Conservatory. This is in the middle of a tough neighborhood. But they have parking right there and it is patrolled and I've been here dozens of times. Years ago it was scarry. Now it is not. This is a wonderful place, just beautiful.
