Currently undergoing remodeling and expansion to become even better this Summer! Great fun for kids & adults alike. My personal favorites are the ferris wheel, Billy Goat Tavern, Rivas, Bubba Gumps, and Must Do Spirit of Chicago etc. Lake dinner cruises! Clients LOVE seeing the skyline from the Lake. You simply can't go wrong visiting Navy Pier. Business or pleasure, single, group, family or romance this is a MUST DO. I'm not from the Men's Warehouse...but I guarantee it!

The Navy Pier juts out into Lake Michigan, so it is fun to walk to the end. Inside is mostly like a mall of sorts with shops and kiosks. The Ferris Wheel is there, as is the IMAX theater, which is always a treat. I loved the Stained Glass Museum (free). What a collection.

“Great hangout spot on a summer weekend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2014

This attraction has quite a bit of history behind it and all the commercial and historical significance aside, its just a great place to walk around and enjoy with family & friends.
I am inclined to say Summer would be a better time to go there for obvious reasons, but again, i am not from Chicago and i have never been here during winter so i cannot vouch for your winter experience.

My take on this attraction:
Allow about 4 to 5 hours to leisurely enjoy the place.. its huge.
Try not to drive if you can.. if you do, be prepared to pay a few bucks for parking
[i think its around $ 30 for the day during summer time]

Not too far from most of the other attractions in the City

Take the Ferris wheel to get great views of the City
