This place is delicious, and the atmosphere is very lounge-like. The pizzas are amazing. Get one with their prosciutto (note: they have cooked ham, get the raw prosciutto). Their pastas are exquisite. Tried the Tortelli in the trufle cream sauce. To die for. The ravioli with butternut squash (went int he fall) was amazing too. good place. They have a projector with views of Italy in the background. Staff is nice enough, Italian owner is very nice and friendly.

Bruno - the larger than life owener of Tocco is the lifeblood of this great italian restuarant. DOn;t let his charm and bon vivant fool you. THere is - like many italians - real deep seated passion about the food.

THis is not your usual American style italian - over sized portions, drowning in some mariner sauce - where size is assumed to mean quality

Tocco is a chic, modern italian restaurant. THe sort of place that I wold expect to see in Milan. But it is the food that we make me come back...and Bruno

A simple menu but beautifully executed. Home made pasta, beautifully al dente, not over seasoned and complimented by superb fish and meat entrees. THere is a good selection of appetisers and desserts too. If you want a pizza then those are on offer to - real italian Pizza.

We were there early and the restaurant was quiet. The other 2 or 3 couples were italian - always a perfect testament to an italian restaurants authenticity.

This is a bit of a find for me AUthentic good quality italian - true italian - cooking outside of Italy. Bravo Bruno

The food was just ok. I didn't think it was bad, I just wasn't overly impressed with the flavors. The atmosphere inside was cool...location not so much.

What a place ! Bruno, the host, is as Italian, as charming as they come. I have been living in Chicago for 9 years, this is the most authentic pizza I have found so far. Step into TOCCO and you will feel in Roma.
Bruno's love for Italy and its food is contagious.
If you can't get on the 1st plane out of O'Hare and jet to Rome for diner, step into TOCCO, it is the best alternative
Grazie Bruno !
