“Good food, good price!”
Reviewed October 4, 2011

I have been trying to find a filipino restaurant for 2 years and this absolutely awesome. The food was delicious, service was prompt and the price was just right. We had to wait an hour so we grabbed beer at one of the German Bars in the area. When we were called our orders came promptly and taste fresh and delicious.

ALSO, it's BYOB (Bring Your Own Booze)!!!

“Great Filipino Food!”
Reviewed July 28, 2011

This was our third visit to this restaurant. The food tastes great, is authentic, and the presentation is very appealing. Everything we've ordered from here is delicious. The lumpia shanghai is perfectly fried and served with a great sweet sauce. The longoniza is also delicious and prepared so that it's non-greasy. The mixed adobo is quite addicting, especially the sauce!

The first two times, we waited about a half hour for a table. We haven't quite figured out when the best time is to go, to avoid crowds. The place is small, so it feels
slightly claustrophobic while dining there. The restroom situation is a little unusual, customers would have to walk through an employee door through the kitchen to the back, where the one customer restroom is located. Also, my husband and I are teetotalers, and we order soda with our food (this place is BYOB), and we wish they served larger sizes of
soda (what's with the miniature 8.5oz bottles???). If they did, it would definitely enhance
our dining experience and I'd be rating it higher.

The young staff is always friendly and helpful, especially explaining to those that are not familiar with Filipino cuisine.

“Not in a good part of town. Service Sucks”
Reviewed September 28, 2010

Was there last weekend; was told that we should call for reservations. Called two hours early for 7PM reservations. When we got there, we were told that they couldn't accommodate us and we COULD/MAYBE be seated at around 815PM. there was another couple there who were upset because they came for their reserved time but the restaurant seated the walk-ins first.

I heard the food was great but unfortunately, the service sucks. so we went to Little Quiapo instead.
