So many things for the kids to do. The entire museum was so clean and welcoming. The different activities for the kids were so much fun and so exciting. They could not decide what their favorite thing to do was.

I really enjoyed the City with the different areas. It was just so interactive and wonderful. The summer Dance Party was also very well done and the staff were impressive!

This museum is in the perfect location right on the Navy Pier. We gave my kids (ages 3 and 7) the option of going here or to the fun house. Both attractions were roughly the same price and I am glad they chose here. I found this to be a very clean and well organized "play land" for kids. I'm not sure that they learned a lot, but they did have a lot of fun in each of the sections. There was a boat they could climb ropes on, a water play area, a dinosaur expedition, a little town that mostly featured a grocery store, and a wooded area. We only planned on spending a couple of hours here and ended up spending all day. I think kids under 10 would really enjoy this museum. There isn't much there for older kids, however. It's mostly just pretend play.

The price is really high for what you get. It would be fine if there was a lot more activities for the children. I agree with another review that some of this is easily taught at home with a simple trip to lowes.

We got the Thursday free night pass starting at 5pm ~ 8pm. Luckily we did not pay.

All the display and activities are elementary! Not much of interaction, just some wooden objects put together to be Cars, trucks, etc. Even the pool water play is a small room, with water flowing and you get a few non-motorized boats to flow down the small river.

the only interactive activities is on the 3rd floor toward the end, right after the Dinosaur archeology site. You can make some things and there is fan blowing and pushing up your stuff in the air.

My 6 and 4 years old just got BORED within 2 hours.

I guessed too many people visit Navy Pier and don't mind wasting some $50 per family. I mean, these stuff are somethings a dad could just bought a few pieces of plywood from Lowes and cut and put together, throw in some paints and put it to display, and charges like $14/person.

Why I did not think of this business idea?!?!
