Not much to say about the place because I cancelled the reservation but wanted to share my limited experience. Had booked a two night stay weeks prior at a room rate of $275 per night. Unfortunately, our plans were suddenly changed and we called to cancel the first night but keep the second. After waiting on hold for five minutes, I was told the “new” one-night rate jumped to $499! So the same room I planned to stay in suddenly almost doubled? $550 for a two night stay, or $500 for a one night. Unreal.
I get it, there’s a perk to staying more nights, but it’s a hard sell when the room you had been planning on staying in regardless nearly doubled in price on account of unforeseen changes in plans. It’s just bad business. You’ve lost a customer, Double Tree.
In the end, I found a better hotel (ranked higher on TA), closer to the theatre, and at a better rate.More
