“Wonderful”
Reviewed January 2, 2014 via mobile

My friend and I decided to go there last night based on the good reviews and proximity to our hotel. I had soup of the day (mushroom, cream and chicken broth) and steak and my friend ordered the fish soup with moullard duck magret which were all very delicious and full of flavor. We shared chocolate mousse creme brûlée for desert with tea and enjoyed it very much. The portions are just about the right amount, not too little and not too much. The staff was very attentive and the chef also checked on us multiple times. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely come back next time we're in Chicago.

“Excellent French food from Chef Martial”
Reviewed December 26, 2013

Great dinner from start to finish. The cheese (IN goat cheese, WI Dante) and charcuterie were a great start. Followed by an arugula, green bean salad that was very tasty. The beef tenderloin (cooked perfectly) and mussels were spectacular entrees. Finished with a Baked Alaska which was absolutely amazing. Overall a great meal with my wife. Chef came out several times to check on things. Definitely will come back.

“Nice brunch choices”
Reviewed December 17, 2013

We had brunch at Bistronomic's on an extremely cold day seated near the door which was cold! The food is good and the service is good too. I had squash soup which was excellent and a wrap with bacon and smoked salmon which was a bit tasteless. I took half with me for later and it was much better several hours later.

“Authentic French Bistro”
Reviewed December 4, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

We stopped in for brunch after hitting the Mag Mile shops. The restaurant has a warm, inviting decor and the waitstaff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu and specials. The food was authentic French bistro cuisine with dishes such as croque monsieur served with addicting frites, various omelets with crispy breakfast potatoes, and buttery quiches. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the dishes. The chef who is from Paris checked on the customers too. Based on this experience, we are planning another visit to try their dinner service.
