I used priceline to book what was supposed to be a 4star hotel. How is it that I bid $125 and got the same hotel that someone else bid $70 in the month prior? This hotel usually books for >$200?? I was told when calling to request 2 beds that I would have to wait until check in. There are 3 adults in my party. Don't bother calling priceline either, horrible customer service. Judging by the reviews on this website just in the last 2 months, priceline and Hotel Felix are things to stay away from!!! Read the reviews, they speak for themselves. Hopefully you haven't booked with priceline prior to seeing the reviews like I did!!

Room Tip: don't stay here or use priceline

The Hotel Felix was a very nice clean hotel with a good location. It was a quick walk to the Michigan ave, restaurants, and bars. It was decorated very tastefully and staff was very friendly. The only downside was the size of the room. The rooms were very small and left little space for luggage, but it was manageable. I would recommend using the parking garage across the street vs valet. Overall this hotel was very nice and I would stay there again, but kind of suprised that it was listed as a 4 star just based on size.

Under no circumstances would I use priceline or Hotel Felix in the future. I just purchased a hotel on priceline and was told directly from Hotel Felix after the fact that the hotel room is for a queen size bed only. There are 3 people traveling & I was told the hotel would not accomodate us. I then called priceline & was told there was nothing they could do. I have used priceline for many years and have always been able to get a room with 2 double beds. I will never use their service again.

We've been to many hotels with 4 star and higher ratings. This wasn't one of them. I've stayed at nicer holiday inns! Rooms are tiny. You could lay in bed and touch the walls. Only one chair - a desk chair to sit in. Luggage sits on the floor - bed bug bait. One protruding coat rack from the wall constitutes the closet. And, since when did a plastic cup become eco-friendly? Also had a little attitude from the front desk when we asked for a larger room and were told "you already have one of the largest queen rooms". I would hate to see the poor soul who got the smaller queen room. Chicago has so much to offer in fine hotels. Sorry, Hotel Felix, you have lots of room for improvement. Maybe knock down a wall or two to make the rooms adequate for today's travelers. We left and checked into another hotel!

Room Tip: find a room in another hotel

What an adorable hotel! Good location- not great location, very trendy and hip but very small room. We had one bed, so it is possible rooms are bigger with big beds, but certainly the smallest I've ever stayed out(including small rooms in San Francisco). There is a safe in the room, we had a good view from the 7th floor, and while the room is adorable, it is very small, with little room to set your items and no where other than the bed to lounge. The only place to put your clothes is in drawers under the bed and very small hanging rack. There is a small deck with a chair and one other chair, but not where you can sit and relax to watch tv. The bathroom was also decorated nice, but again very small, and only had a shower and no bathtub. The sink is modern but only about 1-2 inches deep at most. We were walking distance to Michigan Ave, but would've preferred to be closer. Got this hotel for $104 including tax on PRiceline so it was still a nice hotel considering always taking a risk on the unknown. Parking was $48 I believe, but we learned there is overnight parking right across the street for $23.(not sure that would include in and out priveleges however). They do offer complimentary coffee in the morning downstairs. Unsure if there was even a pool. Bed was very comfy!

Room Tip: For one night this was a nice place. Due to the cramped rooms, would not stay more than one night.
