My wife and I specifically wanted to stay here during a recent trip to Chicago. I booked the reservations on their website which represents both the Four Seasons and the Ritz Carlton. It was not clear that my reservations were for the Ritz and not the Four Seasons. When checking into the Four Seasons they could not find my reservation and had to call the Ritz and transfer the reservation. No harm done. Alex at the front desk was very helpful in changing the reservation and getting us a nice room on the 41st floor overlooking the Lake Michigan. However, the wind noise and creaking was very loud and we had to move to a lower, (33rd), floor where the noise was not so deafening. The hotel seems old and dated and is in need or refurbishing to bring it up to the standards of a great Four Seasons. Room to room noise was disconcerting.
The staff were all great with the concierge staff, housekeeping and front desk to be exceptional. Would probably not stay here in the future when considering the other hotel choices that are probably better for the same price.More
