My daughter and I just stayed at the Hotel Burnham for a quick girl's midweek shopping trip. It is a beautiful historic hotel with great amenities and a wonderful restaurant. We are both In Touch Loyalty members so we were treated to free wireless access and the complimentary "$10 raid" on the mini bar. The reception desk as well as the rest of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel itself is worth exploring with it's interesting historical features. Our room was on the 12th floor and we had a great view of State Street. Macy's is across the street and there are plenty of other great shopping choices around the hotel for fashionistas. We took a quick cab ride to the Water Tower Place and enjoyed some additional shopping and exploring. Great choices for food both at the Atwood Cafe (we had breakfast two mornings) as well as the Loop area. There is also a nice wine hour in the cozy lobby every evening. We will definitely stay here again!
