This hotel has a wonderful location and like most Hilton's we've stayed at, this also has a very welcoming staff and was clean and comfortable. Being a travel agent, I'm very aware of how the staff treats the guests and the details of the room. Everyone that was in the lobby was taken care of in a professional manner.

I stayed in this hotel this pas summer of 2012 and it was a great location very close to the Michigan Avenue shopping district, Nordstrom, Water tower Place, etc. It is right at a Red Line stop which makes using the subway system easy and accessible, but you can walk almost anywhere. Take the bus to Navy Pier right outside the hotel as well. Easy walk to the Art Museum and Millenium park. The hotel is very nice and teh Weber Grill is a wonderful place to get steak dinners, have a beer, etc. Very good service, the hotel is clean and neat as you would expect from Hilton. Also a good Jewel grocery across the street, has anything you might need.

From the moment we checked in, we were treated with polite and friendly smiles. Nothing was a trouble for them, they helped us hail cabs, find directions and go out of their way to help. Dana was especially helpful to us.

If you want a hotel that is always quiet, good sized room, well situated close to Michigan Ave, easy to get to, nice valet parking, this is for you. I think I have stayed there about 5 times now and have always had a nice stay. I had a leaky shower head and the staff seemed really disturbed by it. I can never seem to get the room cool enough for a good night sleep but that seems to be endemic to most hotels. It is a nice place

Stayed on a wintery week-end (3 nights), just before New Year's Eve. Hotel was very busy, and staff was very competent and welcoming. Excellent location, just off Michigan Avenue, behind Nordstrom. Also close to a Trader Joe's and a nice movie theater. Right on the subway line, which we used to/from O'hare Airport.

Surprised at the large size of the room -- king bed with a chair and ottoman and a writing desk , with lots of room all around and very large windows, which I love. Bed was comfortable -- it felt like a foam mattress, soft with good support. It all seemed brand new -- bathroom was large as well with bathtub and shower, and a wide, full length countertop (yeah!) for all of my stuff. I wish this was a standard requirement in all hotels. Decor for the room was colorful and happy -- chicago based photographs were nice. Room had a temperature control, which we used to warm it up. The room was cold when we returned after an evening out, but would warm up pretty fast. We were in Chicago on a very cold week-end, with temperatures in the single digits and low teens.

Elevators were prompt, fast and pretty large -- elevator security seemed ineffective. Needed a card to open the door and enter the elevator. Once the door was open, though, anybody could enter, and go to any floor.

Breakfast at the Weber Grill was terrific. Get there before 9:30 on a week-end morning, or you may have to wait. There is seating at the bar, too. Buffet style plus options to order from a menu -- waffles, pancakes, omelets..... all very yummy.

Be sure to join HiltonHonors program, so you have access to free wi-fi. it worked really well from the room and hotel lobby.

Hotel has a pool and gym club. Was very popular on the holiday week-end.

Room Tip: We liked being up-high, with views up Rush Street and across to Michigan Avenue. We could look at the window and see what was close by, and where we wanted to go.

Wonderful. A little extra countertop space goes a long way to making your home away from home a little less cluttered. Thanks for sharing your feedback about our hotel room, dining at Weber Grill and location in the bustling River North neighborhood. I take the train to and from the airport also, hopefully you connected with the Red Line and exited at Grand, thats the entrance directly in front of our hotel driveway. Safe travels.
