A visit will take no more than 45 minutes. The butterflies are the highlight. It is not far from downtown, and the kids will love it.

Wonderful place for kids of any age. Toddlers can run around the wide halls and play in the "fenced in" toddler climbing area. Older kids can use hands on exhibits to learn about ecosystems and other environmental issues.

A small nature museum designed especially for kids, with some fun and classic hands-on exhibits like waterworks and a green house that kids can walk and crawl all over. The butterfly haven is really nice, really pretty and romantic. And the architecture of the building is great!

The cafe leaves a whole lot to be desired (just premade things you can take from a fridge), but if you're in the Lincoln Park area anyway, it's worth a stop by! And it's a beautiful place to have a wedding or another special event!
